The factory
One of the early levels of a wip dungeon crawler game, a relatively simple level meant to teach the
player basic combat and quest systems as well as an introduction to puzzle mechanics. A former vehicle manufacturing plant over run by monsters. The player is tasked with clearing out the monsters and setting the factory up to allow further production of armored vehicles for helping out the war effort. The level should take about ten minutes. The player enters an open outdoor area labeled as Loading area. This area would have been where the truck would have unloaded the materials the factory would use. The area acts as an arena where the player would fight thru monsters to get to the entrance.
Once the player reaches the entrance of the factory they work themselves up wards then to the right where they fight monsters and collect items until they reach the top right of the map marked as the rectangle labeled damaged door. The door requires a key to open, to get this key the player must back track to the top left of the map here there are stairs to the second floor. The second floor is an area where the player can discover lore about what happened to the factory in addition to finding the key. Once the player finds the key and eliminates all the monsters in the building they complete the quest. The player then returns to base camp to receive the reward.

The Research facility
The research facility takes place in the same game as the factory and is a more intermediate level. An improved concept from the lab, it has some similar inspiration involving the creation of monsters that leads to the facilities eventual abandonment. This level may take around 20 minutes to complete, the main objective is to clear out the facility from monsters and find out what happened leading to is abandonment.
The player starts out at the entry point, this area was mainly used as a reception area with a few offices,, the player could find some surface level lore as well as minor items and researches. once explored the player may find a stair case leading to the second floor of the facility.
The second floor of the facility consists mostly of labs and research area, the play will find more lore about what sort of research was being done and what happened leading up to the facilities abandonment. Additionally the player may face small to medium size monsters and find items and resources.
Upon reaching the fret elevator at the far end of the level, it is discovered that it doesn't work, the player most use the stairs to go to the lower levels. additionally monsters crawl from the elevator that the player most fight. using the stairs the player reaches the lower levels of the facility.
The lower levels would be where the monsters are grown stored and trained. The number of monsters are the highest in this area as this is where the where born and kept. The area closest to the elevator is where the where grown in a lab, players get a look at their development as well as some lore and perhaps more items and clues leading to another mission. from this area the player enters the main storage area these monsters where kept. The walls are lined with cages and multiple monster are present. The player must fight there way thru to continue to the next level. The final level is a large arena type area, this is where the monsters where trained.
The main middle area is a simulated forest where the monsters where trained to hunt and search with potential optical courses at the edges. The is a ring of observation platforms, rooms and temporary holding area circling the perimeter. In this arena area the player would have to fight the strongest and most numerous amount of monsters, perhaps a good area to grind for xp. After the battle the player could continue exploring for lore and/or find the elevator at the top left where they can use it to escape the facility ending the quest.
Expected path
The lab
The lab was a conceptual level design for a group project, The main concept was that a lost civilization was experimenting on a fruit that healed the player. Thru there researched the found the fruit grew into plant based monsters, these monsters eventually over run the lab.
The assignment was to create a level for the new enemy to use a newly implemented weapon (a shovel) on.
In this suggestion I proposed that the lab was within a mountain that is accessed thru the outside are. At the entrance the player would use the shovel to dig the dirt covering the entrance into the lab. Once in the lab the player would need to get to a room to unlock the containment are. once unlocked the player enters the containment area where the will fight waves of enemies including the plant monsters.
